Caterpillar in a hurry
Take your walk
To the shady leaf or stalk.
May no toad spy you,
May the little birds pass by you,
Spin and die,
To live again a butterfly.

Meadow Goldenrod (Solidago virguarea)

Light out of Darkness
...Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust him for his grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.

His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower...
William Cowper

Flies, worms, and flowers exceed me still.
~Isaac Watts
