Wow, is it a full tree or more bush like? Those are huge! And what a perfect quote for this month to come!
THey are bushes that can become trees if left to themselves. We have both. They were all over our property but we bought goats because they eat them and we also have been cutting and burning them all year long. I had never seen thorns such as these before moving here. They are positively frightening.
Thanks for the info, I can't believe a goat could eat that! I have heard they'll eat anything, but wow!! Another reason to see Texas someday! :)
Danna, they just eat the leaves. We cut down the big ones and when little shoots come up again, the goats eat the leaves continually until the plant dies. : )
