Danna, we saw these while traveling in Turkey along side of the road. The pictures really don't do them justice. It was an amazing sight.

Oh and thanks for posting pictures of your kids nature journals, it has been good to show my 6 yr. old. I can't really show him published ones, he'd get discouraged, he is so excited to have his own nature journal! Thanks!
